Music Portal

Welcome to the Music Portal! Here, you’ll find a clear, step-by-step guide to help you choose the perfect songs for your films, along with answers to all your music-related questions. Everything you need to make the right music choices is right at your fingertips!

    • You’re welcome to use any song, as long as you can provide us with a valid license for it. Once you provide the license and wav file, we’ll be happy to include the song in your film.

    • If you’re looking to license a specific song, you can try using Musicbed’s licensing service, they offer the option to license any song in the world. However, please note that licensing tracks this way can cost several thousand dollars.

    • If there’s a particular song you love or a specific vibe you’re going for, feel free to let us know! We can curate a selection of licensed tracks from our platforms that match the mood and tone of your preferred song.

    • Musicbed also has a powerful AI search tool that helps you find similar songs based on the one you have in mind. Here’s a Loom video showing how to use this feature.

  • One-Song Highlight

    • We recommend selecting a track that has both a slower, emotional section and a more upbeat or dramatic part. This helps create variety and keeps the film engaging. A song with only one consistent rhythm might feel a bit flat or less emotional.

    Two-Song Highlight

    • First song: Choose something romantic, slow, or moody. This works beautifully for the bride and groom preparations, first look, as well as the ceremony.

    • Second song: Go with something more upbeat or energetic. This fits well with the reception scenes like dancing, cocktail hour, cake cutting, and the party atmosphere.

  • For a 3–5 minute highlight:

    • Choose 1 song for the main highlight.

    • If you’d like an intro, we can either pick a fitting track or you can select an additional song just for the intro.

    • Total: 1 song (highlight) + 1 optional song (intro)

    For a 5–7 minute highlight:

    • Choose 2 songs for the main highlight.

    • If you’d like an intro, you can either let us choose one or select it yourself.

    • Total: 2 songs (highlight) + 1 optional song (intro)

    • Some of our clients do choose their own songs from our licensed music platforms, but most prefer the “Choose for me” option. In that case, our editor will select the song that best fits the style and emotion of your film.

    • In this case, we typically loop the most meaningful part of the song to reach the required length for the highlight.

    • For intros, we usually use a different song for that part. We can choose the best option for you, or you can specify your preferences in the video vision form.

    • Choose for me option

    • Simply go to the client portal and submit a second video vision form with your updated song selection.

    • If you filled out the vision form, there will be a $750 fee to re-edit the highlight with a new song.

    • If you didn’t fill out the form and we proceeded with the edit, a $750 fee will also apply for re-editing with a different song.

    • The Videographer will consider the Client’s music preferences but has the final decision on the music choice due to licensing regulations. If the Client requests a specific song, additional licensing fees may apply. The music is licensed only for the Client’s personal enjoyment and cannot be used on social media or for commercial purposes. The Videographer will inform the Client of any sharing restrictions.

    • The Client cannot publish or distribute the video beyond personal use due to music licensing laws and assumes all responsibility for any consequences of such actions. The Client agrees to hold the Videographer harmless in this regard. If the Client provides their own music, they must have the legal rights to use the song. The Client agrees to cover any costs for copyright issues or legal fees related to the provided music.

    • If the event includes live performances, a separate license may be required for publishing those songs. If the Client distributes or publishes the video without proper licensing, they will indemnify the Videographer and hold them harmless.

    • The Client has the option to select music for their highlight film, but the music must be available for licensing through FyrFly (https://songfreedom.com) or Musicbed (https://musicbed.com). If no song request is made before the wedding, the Client waives the right to select the music, and the editor will choose the song.

    • If the Client wants to change the music after receiving the highlight film, a $750 fee will apply, and the delivery timeline will reset.
