It’s time to get familiar with our galleries. Since we have specific editing guidelines we follow, we want you to really understand and start training your eye to see it.
For this module, you will be viewing 15 of our hand selected galleries, while paying attention to the looks and editing style we use, so you can observe the similarities between our galleries.
As part of our process we ask our clients to choose from 6 unique looks: MMC 1: Classic, MMC 2: Art, MMC 3: Light and Bright, MMC 4: Art 2, MMC 5: Radiant, and MMC 6: Art 3
Please fill out the form as you're looking at these galleries and select which options fit best to the description of the galleries.

Proper cropping plays a vital role in wedding photography and galleries by conveying the emotions and significance of the day. Ignoring this aspect during editing may emphasize irrelevant features, reducing the overall impact and emotional depth of the photos.
For this module you will be taking a quick test on cropping.
From straightening to centering, this section will help guide you on our process for cropping.

Having a good grasp of masking techniques is essential to maintaining our editing standards. Achieving color accuracy, particularly in the whites of images, is paramount in editing. True tonality in whites enhances the overall visual appeal and authenticity of a photograph, ensuring that details are rendered crisply and naturally. It's essential to maintain this accuracy without compromising skin tones, avoiding any muddiness that can detract from the clarity and beauty of portraits. By prioritizing color accuracy and true tonality, editors can deliver images that are not only visually pleasing but also faithful to the original scene, preserving the essence and emotions captured in each moment.
For this next module, you will be selecting images that are true to tone, with proper skin tones and tonality.

What should I do before uploading a test project to PicTime?
Before submitting a project for feedback, please make sure of the following:
- All shots have been edited in our 6 looks
- All shots are straightened and centered
When will I be assigned my first project?
After you successfully complete all modules, you will schedule a meeting with Tiahna to discuss the next steps. These next steps included onboarding you to Quire (our project management software), where you will be assigned your first project.
How are projects assigned?
Projects are typically assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis, while also taking into consideration the complexity and demands of each project in terms of required skills. High-end weddings, for instance, which often demand greater expertise, are prioritized for editors with more experience in higher tiers. This approach ensures that each project receives the attention and skill level necessary for successful execution.
