Rob + Michelle’s engagement session took place at the beautiful 40 Steps in Newport, RI. We had such a fun time shooting this adventurous engagement session. All of the surrounding elements definitely played into the stunning images from this shoot. The photos were dramatic and romantic, yet still soft and intimate. We took the trek from our office in Providence, RI and drove down to the city of brotherly love where we met up with Ryan and Alexis and captured some beautiful candid moments. The architecture of the museum and this drop dead gorgeous couple made it an effortless day. What we love about these engagement photos is the natural and effortless romance that’s portrayed.
We love this engagement shoot we did recently with David + Briana in Newport, RI. Typically, when you think of photos taken in Newport, you think light and beachy. However, we did the engagement shoot at the Cliff Walk 40 Steps which allowed us to go full force with the moody and dramatic vibe! Give us all the cliffs, all the mansions and an adventurous couple - it’s all we need!
There’s nothing better than New England in the fall (can we get an amen?). And this engagement shoot with Jordan and Kimberly catches the full beauty this season has to offer. We headed to Roger Williams Park in Providence, Rhode Island for to do a more comfortable and cozy shoot with this incredible couple and were able to capture the sweetest moments!. We recently did the most chill and fun engagement session with Paul and Casey at Second Beach in Newport, Rhode Island. The brisk autumn day made this otherwise popular spot feel like it was our own private beach. So of course, we took full advantage during the shoot! We love the peaceful ambience these photos exude as we see Paul and Casey exploring the long stretch of open beach, calm waves, and soft sand dunes. This couple has us thinking a stroll on the beach is even better in the fall!

At Move Mountains Co, we’re always challenging ourselves to keep sessions fresh and creative with every couple so that each session is inspiring to us and unique to the couple. So it goes without saying that when a couple comes to a shoot with a clear vision, it makes things that much more exciting for us! And that’s exactly what happened here. We collaborated with Nick and Brittany to create 1 shoot that had 2 looks but still held a consistent vibe. The beautiful Elephant Rock in Middletown, RI was perfect for an earthy yet romantic backdrop.
This was easily one of the funnest engagement sessions that the Move Mountains team has done. For starters, who doesn’t love a good state fair in the middle of a Rhode Island summer? We sure do! Then add in the fact that we got to do a photo and video shoot for such a chill and down to earth couple - it definitely made for some magical moments. One last fun fact: the bride-to-be is our very own video editor extraordinaire. So as a team, we really got to push the limits and create something we love!

Today, we’re switching things up on the blog with a proposal shoot we did a few weeks back. This one felt extra special for us, because they are 2 of our dear friends here at Move Mountains Co. Alfredo + Paige are 2 of the most fun-loving and thoughtful people who you’ll always find with genuine smiles on their faces. They both have a special gift to make people feel cared for and deeply loved. So it was only fitting for Alfredo to propose in one of their favorite cities, Providence, Rhode Island, surrounded by friends who are more like family.
